Hi everyone. I just recently bought a Galaxy Note 2014 edition and it apparently had been rooted with Supersu and team recovery. Which I didn't know. I tried updating but it said the device was modified apparently I'm guessing because knox was tripped. I unrooted Supersu rebooted and still can't update. I know nothing about rooting I wouldn't have nought the tablet had I known. Everything is stock on the tablet now except the team recovery, is there any way for me to update from 4.4.2 to 5.0?

You don't really want to try updating a rooted device over the air as you are likely to brick it. All you need to do is flash the exact stock image that is needed for your device. Check what firmware is on your device and use Google to see what build is required for Lollipop. Get this correctly identified fw from sammobile. Download Odin, to your PC, connect phone, load firmware and flash. There are many tutorials on the net. After this your phone won't be rooted.
