in the uk with verizon s5. unable to txt to numbers with a +44 ******* number. argh

it's posible to text to a standered number format starting 077******** but the reply comes back in the +44 format so i can't reply without redialing dropping +44.

if a +44 txt is sent then hours later i recieve a reply " your text-to-speech message has been denied" what???????
anyone got any intel on this. would be a great help.

That would probably be a carrier-related issue. The carrier, if they're receiving the call in the UK, should just drop the +44, before processing the call any further. (That's the industry standard - it's the same thing in the US - the +1 is dropped if the call is being made from a tower in the US.) I'd go to the carrier and ask them to contact someone in the company who handles that level and find out what's going on. (A "fix" to some firmware could cause a little "glitch" in their entire system - that they're not aware of, because they never add +44 to the numbers they're testing with, because they don't have to.)
