I'm going to leave Consumer Cellular (uses AT&T towers) because the signal/reception is pitiful where I currently live. I have a Motorola Moto G now, and Straight Talk's site says the phone will be compatible with their service.
Now, the dilemma: Straight Talk uses both Verizon and AT&T towers. If my Moto G runs on AT&T through Straight Talk, I'll have the same poor reception and it will defeat the purpose. Is there some jailbreak or unlock I can perform in order to allow my Moto G to use Verizon towers through Straight Talk? Or am I looking at buying another phone in order to receive my desired outcome?
