My Galaxy Note 8 has gone into factory mode - how do I get out of it

A

AC Question

A page came up with a picture of an android saying that the tablet was into factory mode and that it was downloading and not to touch the target. After several minutes, a new screen popped up with approximately 4 options. We pushed "reboot" assuming that was the logical choice and now the tablet does not respond at all except when we plug in the charging cord.
I'm not worried about losing e-mails, just want to get it back on line.

It sounds like you just got a full OTA firmware upgrade.

What does this mean exactly. What "kind" of response are you getting when you plug in the charger? Are you able to get to the Home screen? Is the tablet running as it should, but only when plugged in?
