My LG tablet won't respond to touch

my homepage comes up but thats it hold power button to power off or restart but it won't respond to any touch to the screen

Welcome to Android Central! The touchscreen digitizer probably failed. You'll have to bring it to repair shop to replace the screen (or contact LG if it's still under warranty).
