Can the camera of the Droid Turbo XT 1254 be removed

I work at a place where camera phones cant be brought in. I have mine droid turbo for some time now so i would like to removed the camera myself. I have seen the disassembly video on youtube but i would like to know if the camera can be removed easily from the circuit board. Thanks for your help.

So far as I know, phone camera modules are relatively easy to remove, but it may be worth seeking advice from the manufacturer about your particular device.

Welcome to Android Central!

Why not just buy a cheap flip phone that doesn't have a camera and use that while at work. You can just swap back when you leave.

I would imagine they want a smartphone and not a flip phone.

Also, you would have to remove the front facing camera as well.
