How to delete an unseen file

[AC Question]

I was d/ldng a torrent, it gave a download time of 2 weeks (should have been first red flag). The torrent stopped halfway through and disappeared. Now my phone which has 12gb of storage is saying I have no more space avail. I can see the 8.44 gb file in the d/l sec. Of storage settings but can't find it to delete. Any help would be great

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Use a file manager app like Total Commander to look in the Download directory--if you see the file there, delete it. If you were using some specific torrent app, you may need to look for a download directory specific to that app.
