Today, I noticed my battery was going really fast (which means super fast because Nexus 5). I checked my battery log in the night, and I found that WiFi and Maps were using ~35% each. I never use Maps, and I had turned off WiFi every time I went out. I went to the larger graph, however, and it said WiFi had been on all day, and so had GPS. My GPS is always off. Also, I checked on Maps multiple tines, and tried to force stop, but it was grayed out, which I'm pretty sure means its not running. Any help?
I have the exact same problem, only with GPS. WiFi is off all the time (mostly) so all the data drain is coming from Google Maps and the GPS which is perpetually on. Will somebody please help me (I mean, us)?
