Has my Lollipop update changed my lock screen password?

[AC Question]

I just upgraded to Lollipop 5.0.2 and now I am being told my lock screen password is wrong before I finish typing it. I am typing the first three digits correctly and can get no further. I have one try left and I want to get into my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? A system update should not change your lockscreen password.
