Is it possible to know the smartphone's factory firmware number?

A

AC Question

Topic. I have Galaxy S5. I updated my firmware and I am very regretful for it because now my phone is hot as ever. I want to roll back to stock version that came from factory by flashing with Odin but I don't know its firmware or base band numbers. It came as 5.0. It didn't have Smart Manager app in the first place. This app appeared after the update. Stagefright was also present. Thank you.

You might be able to flash it, and you might not. Who is your carrier, what country, what's the full model number?

Better yet, just go to Sammobile and enter your model number. If you download firmware, make sure it's for your model number, country, and carrier. Flash the wrong firmware and your phone is toast.

Edit... forgot to answer the question in your title. The phone was released with Kitkat 4.4.2 according to GSMArena
