AC Question

Hello,

I am having real problems with my screen lock on the S6 following a recent software update.

Problem 1: When I receive a call for the first couple rings my screen remains black, when it eventually lights up it requires me to unlock it. I would hope that any incoming call would automatically light my phone up and then automatically unlock my phone so i just need to swipe to answer.

Problem 2: When i now try to unlock my phone it is so slow to light up, regardless of whether i press the home button or the power button on the side it seems that the screen lights up in stages, like its on a dimmer, gradually getting lighter and lighter which takes several seconds before eventually allowing me to unlock via a pattern code. However it often doesn't react to the first press of the home screen/power button either. I often have to press this several times to take me to the screen lock.

Please help!!!

Many thanks in advance.

Are you using a battery saver app? It sounds like something is either keeping your device busy causing it to be slow or is putting it to sleep. If it were me and you're not using a battery saver, I'd go into my app drawer and sort by recent and start questioning the last few apps that we're downloaded. If you are using a battery saver get rid of it. They're obsolete and usually cost you more in resources and battery than the apps they're helping to manage.
