Is it possible to use a Raspberry Pi as the basis for a head unit for Android Auto

A

AC Question

I'm restoring a 69 TR 6. Thinking how to bring Android Auto to the car using my interest in the Raspberry Pi. Don't want to reinvent the wheel or set out on a task that is beyond my limited skills. At this time running Raspbain OS but the Chromium OS is being ported to run on the RPi.

Welcome to Android Central!

I don't think it can, Android Auto is built to only work with certain head units. You might just be better off finding a decently price head unit and using that.
