How do I add words to my S5 dictionary?

It's constantly annoying when auto correct doesn't properly correct my words. Specifically swear words. Even words like "Damn" are constantly getting changed to "Dam" no matter how many times I have typed it and auto corrected it.

I've Google many things...the new lollipop 5.1.1 does not have the "personal dictionary" option so I can't manually add my own words either. I don't get "a check mark" to add word to my dictionary...I really have no other idea what to do.

I've got a Samsung S5 running 5.1.1. and I'm using the standard samsung keyboard. Does anyone know how to do this?

A few times when it does it to me, after I type in the word or spelling I want before I hit the space bar I tap the word while it is underlined. Lke so.
