My device external card not formatting after upgrading to Marshmallow

I'm currently using Lenovo K3 note which recently got upgraded from Android 5 to Android 6. The installation process went on fine, however the device is not formatting external Micro SD card after ready-to-use. I'm receiving error messages as SD card is not recognized. I've bought a new SD card ( class 10) and tried with it. However i get the same result.

I'm receiving error message as " command '8 volume partition disk: 179,128 private' failed with'null'

Kindly help me by resolving this issue.

Put one of the cards into a computer and format it as exFAT. If that doesn't fix it, the phone has a problem (that has to be fixed by a repair shop).
