AC Question
I am having a problem with notifications on a T-Mobile Note 4 running 5.1.1. Reminders about tasks will not stay dismissed, no matter how many times I dismiss them.
I have the default email app syncing with three Office 365 Exchange accounts. I have numerous tasks that are overdue but not yet completed. Every one will appear in the notification window. Clicking the "Clear" icon in the lower right corner dismisses all notifications and closes the notification window, but within 2 seconds my phone is buzzing again. When I drag down to see the notification window, every one of the tasks is listed again. And while that window is open, the reminders seem to refresh about every 2 seconds, disappearing for a second and then reappearing.
This is unbelievable annoying. The only way I can seem to stop this is to turn off all reminders for the Office 365 accounts, including new mail, calendar reminders, etc., which I don't want to do. Turning off the Notification Reminder didn't help. I just need a way for a given reminder to stay dismissed once I have dismissed it. I would rather not have to buy an app do deal with email, calendar and tasks if I can avoid it. I would use the free Outlook app, but it doesn't sync tasks.
Anyone have any suggestions?
