android tab with charger and USB with scanner...when fan is switched on off, scanner not working

We are connecting an android tablet with charger and micro USB with barcode scanner...when room fan is switched on/off (when charger is connected to power supply), barcode scanner is stopped working..Can any body pls help urgently...
