why the new model of samsung s7 uses just now large batteries?

Sorry, I still don't get it. In fact battery life on my Edge isn't fantastic

I think the OP is wondering why Samsung made the decision to use a bigger battery only now in the S7, rather than earlier in the S6, and is suggesting that small batteries may be a dealbreaker to some potential buyers, who might then choose other makers' devices.
