The recent windows and back button on my S6 won't work.

I placed my Samsung Galaxy S6 right on the edge of the tub (because I'm an *****) and it fell in. I grabbed it right away and it was working fine. 10 minutes later it starts shutting off randomly claiming it's overheating and the buttons on the bottom to see my recent windows and back out won't work. My password is my finger print and it won't work (I have a back up password to type in). Everything else works fine.
