Apps from cell phone are on new tablet

[AC Question]

Just got the lenovo TAB2 A10
before turning it on, I charged it via my PC for 15 minutes.
the I turned the tab on.

Now i know it comes with pre installed apps, which ones I dont know.
BUT....heres the weird bit.
The apps I had on my cell phone are now on my tablet
????

I signed in google the same email address as I do with my cell
Could they be 'talking' to each other via my PC, or is google remembering personal details on my cell phone

My question is:-
How did the apps from my cell get onto my tablet

For example, there are a lot of play pool apps, but i have exactly the same play pool app on both cell and tablet

Hi & Welcome to Android Central Forums!

If you've chosen (maybe by accident) for your apps to be backed up, either through Samsung or Google Account on your phone, then the apps will be moved to the new device, when you signed on to the Tablet, using said account(s). I could be wrong.
