why does my phine keep shutting off and then txt messages come in and then they dont come in?

my phone is literally saying " U need to delete file to receive messages", then I go to delete some stuff that I don't need and wait for the txt messages to come in, then one finally does and says the exact same thing.
Then for my calling history it wont delete because it says " There is no memory space for this action"

I'm sorry you are having these issues! Can you please provide us with your phone's model #, and your Android version. You can find that in settings under about us. One thing you can try right off the bat, is to go into your recovery, and wipe the cache partition, this does not delete any data!

Get us the information on your phone, and we will see what else we can do to help!
