Cortina on Android

[AC Question]

My question is on Cortana. When I had my Windows Phone Cortana would announce that I had a text from "Sally". She would then ask if I wanted her to read it or ignore it. After she would read it she would ask if I wanted to reply or if I was done. If I replied she would allow me to voice to text my reply. Then she would ask if I wanted her to send it.

Does Cortana do this on Android? I have an IPhone now and Cortana on IPhone is so scaled back it is really no use. If she does I will be thinking of jumping to Android. I would go back to Windows but for some reason I actually like being able to get apps for my phone OS.
