My new Galaxy S7 is not charging at all.

I have had my S7 for about a week and love it. But, this morning I woke up to a totally dead phone. It was plugged in all night. (I routinely charge it over night - and lasts all day.) I thought maybe it was the wall outlet in my hotel room. So, I brought the charger cable to my office and tried it there. Nothing. Totally dead. Thoughts?

Check first that the charger and USB lead are good, and that so far as you can tell the USB port connector is undamaged.
