Crackling noise when opening camera

[AC Question]

Every time I open my back camera on my s6 active it makes a fairly quiet crackling noise for a few seconds, I've only had it since December and I have used it a couple times with wet hands, I'm not sure what's going on and idk if it's bad or not

Does the phone's other sounds, have distortion issues as well? I have an S6 Active and don't recall it making a system sound when selecting camera options. But.....it sounds like maybe yours does. The active is designed to operate during wet conditions, so I doubt that's the issue. If you don't have the means to bring it to a repair facility, then if its only a sound issue, then I'd recommend not worrying about it...as long as its operating ok.
