What is the ID that my phone is asking for?

I had my phone charging overnight and I pressed something, and it rebooted, now
it is asking me for my ID. My phone was already set up by my daughter and I don't
know what ID that the phone is referring to.

Exactly what is the message that you are seeing? I don't recall ever seeing any 'ID' messages on any phone. It may be requiring you to enter your PIN or password, or to unlock the phone using your fingerprint, or possibly to enter your Google account name and password.
