AC Question

I am on Talkmobile UK, a virtual operator, one of the cheaper ones.

Something that has been bugging me is consistent data service, my phone uses the following:

GPRS
EDGE
H
H+

Now as far as I'm concerned, these are all useless for data apart from H+, which is very good. My phone constantly switches between these. To help with things, from Settings/Mobile Data, I set it to only use WCDMA. This is only H and H+. But it still uses H now and then, occasionally half way through a H+ session which interrupts me as it's rubbish. I can even be stationary and this switching would happen.

I'd like an explanation from someone who will know why this happens. Is it my phone? Cheap virtual network provider? What can I do to improve this?

Have you spoken to Talkmobile about it?

I'm surprised that you find H to be bad. That's what I have most of the time on the Three network, with no data speed problems at all.
