After i reset my phone to factory settings it wont boot up.

I have a samsung galaxy s3 and i was going to give it to my brother, so i factory reset it through the settings option. after doing so the phone restarted and wont go past a slowly flashing samsung start up screen. I cleared the cache and tried resetting it again with volume up+home+power.

Note: my phone says it has water damage due to the red sticker even though it works fine, so taking it in and replacing it isn't an option for me.

Sorry but it doesn't look very promising, especially if the factory reset, is what caused it. See the link below. You can also find youtube videos i'm sure, on the complete process using Odin to flash the Original Software. Its worth a shot.
