why won't my phone load up pass the logos

[AC Question]

my phone was off this morning when i woke up. When i tried to turn it it started normal but then wouldn't boot up pass the virgin mobile logo.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? This kind of thing usually means that something has gone wrong with the firmware or the hardware. Is it still under warranty?
