Why won't my straight talk samsung galaxy grand prime not connect to lte 4g

My phone only shows 3g and was pretty fast now it is slow I have got rid of old apps files etc. Phone is clean still slow , my brother has same phone and service his shows lte

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get the phone through Straight Talk, or from elsewhere? What's the exact model number? Check Settings>About Phone​ to find it.

Call straight talk and they'll fix it. If you did a prl update that was the wrong thing to do.

Sounds like you need to contact Straight Talk. Its going to be their service/SIM related.

I've since realized this after loading 2GB of data cards on both out Tracfones. If one was to follow my post they would see why we're not able to use our LG / Android outside the home. The issues might be straight talk.. more over it's who's the cell provider straight talk is using to offer this cell service to you.
