Why can't I access my personal dictionary on my Samsung Galaxy s5?

I'm just using the keyboard that came with the phone, I haven't installed anything. I've searched through Language + Input, and other places in the settings and the settings in the messenger app itself, and can't find it anywhere. I've seen the Personal Dictionary somewhere, but of course when I go to use it, it has vanished! I just want to put more words into my dictionary.
Can someone please help me?
