Cookie Jam & Candy Crush will not work on my tablet. They worked fine until about 18 months ago. I have cleared data files and done factory reset, but it makes no differance. I found older versions to load and they worked until google play store updated them. I have tried writing to the game companies but they only have stock answers.
    many thanks in advance

Do you have Adobe Air installed? If not then download the latest version (this is the first step in troubleshooting on your issue).

Also, since your device is a Samsung, try the following procedure...there is a remote possibility that it might help. Ensure you follow my instructions carefully though:

    1. In your phone dialer type *#9900#

    2. A hidden Samsung service menu should appear, titled "SysDump".

    3. Select only "Delete Dumpstate/logcat" (ignore every other item unless you are an expert).

    4. Tap "OK" when prompted and restart your device.

This has helped me with some different issues, its possible that it might help with your issues or at least one of them.
I have screenshots of this procedure but couldn't attach them to thus message becausr of the crappy slow Internet speed of my phone network.

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply, but unfortunately this did not help. Nothing changed.
With regards to your second post, I am using a tablett not a phone. I do have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and all games are working fine on that.
