I have purchased tv shows and movies for my Android devices from the Google Play store.

I want to free up storage space on my Android devices. Can i put my purchases onto a memory device of some kind? Therefore when i want to watch these particular purchaeses i can plug in the memory device into my android to watch? And will i be able to watch them without wifi?

You should be able to just remove them and then re download them when you want to watch them.
