Why the galaxy note 3 do have fingerprint screen lock?

Hi Tarasha,

The Note 3 does not have the hardware/software for this and there is no app that can be downloaded to do it....as the phone simply does not have the hardware.

You need the fingerprint reading hardware, and you can't "download" hardware. It may be possible to add a fingerprint reader (the hardware) from a later phone, probably plugged into the USB port, and write software to read it, but 2-1/2 year old phoned usually don't have many people working on things like that. If they did, the AT&T and Verizon versions would already have unlocked bootloaders.
