My Galaxy S7 Edge got noticeably hot today and the screen quality started flickering before ultimately turning off on me. I could click around on the screen and hear the sounds of apps opening and such, but the screen would not stay on for long when I clicked the power button and turned it back on. I did a factory reset hoping that was the issue, but the problem persists and now the phone's screen will oftentimes not even turn on when I press the power button- if it does, it stays on for literally a second before just turning off. When I plug the phone in to charge, it will turn on for a bit, but as soon as I unplug, the screen automatically turns off. I bought the phone off of a Craiglist deal and I have the box- is there anything I can do myself to fix it or does the manufacturer warranty still apply?

If a factory reset didn't help, then you'd need to send it in for servicing. If the issue didn't start from exposure to a fall or liquids, it should be covered under warranty!
