Why is note 4's battery draining so quickly and turns off at 70%?

[AC Question]

I been having this issue for a while now and I don't what do. My note 4's battery drains really fast to the point it dies around 50% sometimes 70%. And when I try to turn it back on the phone stays on the start up screen and turns off then turns back on again to the start up screen then turns off and it repeats this until the phone is put on a charger or the battery is taken out. It's really been bugging me and I don't know what to do

Welcome as a new member.

To expand a little, and without being an expert on batteries, shutting off at a particular percentage is a possible indication of a dendritic short. Bad. The other things you describe also indicate a failing battery.
