Why my phone keeps rebooting after i partition my 32 Micro SD into Fat32 and Ext2 Formats ?

I have a Sony Xperia L ( Rooted ) , it has a low internal storage capacity , so i wanted to increase it by using Link2Sd method , so in order to do it , you must partition your external micro sd card into FAT32 and EXT2 , so when i did it ( by using minitool ) and put the micro sd into my phone again it keeps rebooting ) , so i removed it and removed the EXT2 partition and it workd fine again , so why this happens ? and how to solve this problem ? ...... Thanks in advance .
