HELP!!!! My phone is stuck!

[AC Question]

I have an LG Volt 2, ls751, with Lollipop 5.1.1. It has Snapdragon 410.

I am stuck on LG screen at boot. I tried to replace Kingroot with SuperSu. I can say that according to a "root checker" app that I did root successfully.
I can access both recovery and download screens with hard keys. I tried to factory reset from the recovery menu and did not work.
All my searching on the internet I found a custom recovery for this phone. Should that be my next step, flash a custom recovery? If so, what tools should I use? The easiest flashing method and tools is essential because I'm kinda noob.
Is there a safer way to fix my phone other than flashing?

Hi there

I'm no familiar with the LG Volt. Dump the custom recovery....Look on Sammobile.com See if you can find our OEM software, then use Odin to flash it to your device. This will bring you back to original factory settings.

Do a youtube search for using Odin, its relatively easy.
