I just purchased the Nexus 5x. Some of the apps I've installed prompt me to grant them "draw over other apps" permission, but when I try to that the App doesn't even show up in the list. How do I fix this?

From what I've read from others, you have to turn off all of the active apps' permission, install/grant permission for the new app, then grant other apps permission once more. Huge PITA and something we should all scream to Android developers about so they can stop screwing us all around and wasting our time. It's my understanding that this switching on/off of these permissions may be required multiple times a day for some.
