why is my tab 4 not charging?

I've had my galaxy tab 4 for about 2 months and now it won't charge. It says it's plugged in and charging but it's stuck at 5 percent. I'm afraid of restarting it because of other posts say when it died it never came back on.

Are you using the OEM charger? Also, have you tried other charging sources?

You may need to power off the device and see if that works. It could be a software issue, and it could be corrected with a reboot.
