I'm using the cable and the plug that came with my phone. Usually, it only takes my phone to charge from 0-100% in under 2 hours. It has always been that way until recently, I've noticed the phone takes around 6 hours to charge completely. That's roughly 3-4 minutes per %. I've updated my phone to 5.1.1 Lollipop and I'm guessing that's the reason why it takes much longer now. But even if I power off my phone, it still charges very slow.

What might be the cause and what can you advice me to do?

First, try a different USB lead, and make sure that the phone's USB port connector is clean and undamaged.
