How do I move my photos from Google to my Gallery

The easiest way would be to go on to a desktop and to go the Google Photos web site.. download everything and then copy everything via a USB connection to /sdcard/DCIM/Camera directory.

You can do it on the phone itself (download and put into that directory), but its a bit more cumbersome than doing it on a desktop.

Then restart the phone. Moving files doesn't trigger Media Scan, so Gallery won't see the files if you just copy them to the phone. (Gallery has no folder of its own - it "sees" all pictures anywhere on the phone that Media Scan can see.)
