AC Question

The device automatically uses the 'high data' symbol (h+) at the top of the screen, even though the devices is 3G/4G capable, most of the time.I once saw a area in the settings to tick or untick a box to stop the device automatically switching to the strongest signal,e.g the h+,but I thought it could be changed so it is second choice. Does this way work with most galaxy aces phones? If you please please know, please contact me as its driving me crazy & uses alot of data. Thank you.

Those symbols just mean how strong the signal is and how fast the data can be exchanged. You can limit data usage in settings.. you can also change the settings to use 3g etc. It's your phone that determines how much data it wants to use and that's governed by the apps that use the data.. look in data usage and find which app uses the most and you can usually stop the app. You can also set a limit on that setting so the phone shuts off data when you reach the limit you choose. Choosing wifi only settings will also save you data.. have fun exploring your options
