why is my phone not starting?

i have an asus zenfone2 ze551ml which i rooted recently. 2 days ago there was an OTA, i downloaded the OTA and installed it and after that the phone started but couldnt make it pass the asus logo, it just stayed there. there was not even the boot loop. now after going through so many forums and tutorials i have wiped the cache partition, hard resetted it by going in the recovery mode but nothing has happened. i am lost for word and mentally drained out of options. i really want to know how to bring back my phone back to life even if it means going to the factory version firmware. please help

Hi

NEVER do a OTA update on a rooted phone. Its very doubtful that you can recover from this, unless you can have your OEM software reflashed.
