I lost my LCD lighting on my screen. Phone still working but need to shut it down.

Where are the ShUT Down Phone Buttons on the screen? Or is there an alternate way to shut it down using the side buttons?

Press and hold Power for half a minute.

Welcome to Android Central! belodion's tip will work for most phones, but if you have a Samsung device, press and hold Power and Vol Down for 10-15 seconds. I'm assuming your phone doesn't have a user removable battery.

And it's going to need a new screen, since VERY few shops can replace just the LED layer (the light behind the screen itself).
