Samsung Charging Stand won't Charge

When I place my Note 5 on the wireless charging stand I am notified by the light and my phone that it is charging. Within 10 seconds the charge to my phone stops and the light on the charger blinks blue. I have no idea why it won't charge my phone. Anyone who can help me with this would be appreciated

FYI I have tried this with and without the case on

A thought occurred to me after making this post. All I did was change the outlet adapter to the one that came with my Note 5 and the wireless charger works fine.
