HTC 626 forgot swipe pattern

[AC Question]

Had the same pattern for two months since I got the phone. Changed the pattern early morning/late night. Forgot the pattern. Tried a bunch of times (7). Just started researching online that after 5 times, I could have put in my gmail and password and used a new pattern. That would have been great. I do not want to lose all my messages, contacts, etc. Any hope at all at this point??

Hi, try Android Device manager, this will allow you to reset your password using your Gmail account.
