Why is my bluetooth not connecting?

I go into my Bluetooth menu turn the switch to the on position and my phone immediately shuts It Off. When I restart my phone it tells me process system is not responding wait or close either option has no results

It would be helpful if you tell us what kind of a phone it is and what version of Android it is running.

What you could try is go into the phone's settings and then into the Application Manager. From there make sure you select "All Applications" and find the one called "Bluetooth" or "Bluetooth Share". Open it's details screen, press "delete data", and "clear cache". Then restart the phone and see if you are still having the problem.
