Hi, I bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 refurbished back in January. In the first week in March, it had charging problems where it would take itself off charge despite not even being around it, touching it, moving it, etc. When it did charge, it would charge slow. I paid to have this problem fixed due to it not being covered by warranty because of "physical damage". They explained to me to not allow it to fall whilst charging. It hasn't fallen whilst charging since being fixed and has come up with the problem once again. I have changed chargers six times, changed outlets, switched batteries, done the thing where you take the battery out and hold the power button for a minute to drain off excess, and nothing has fixed this charging problem. I'm not very keen on taking it back in again to be "fixed". Please help.

It could be that the USB port connector is dirty or, more likely perhaps, damaged, or that an internal connection from it is bad.

Clean battery contacts and the ones in the phone. Put something behind battery to push it firmly against the contacts in phone. They tend to be a bit loose on those phones. Try that... :-)
