I cannot receive or send textes

[AC Question]

Im getting the notification sound mutual not a notification sign. I look for the message but there isn't one. There also isn't an older textes in my logs so I can't text anyone even by adding there contact info.

What device do you have, and what version of Android is it running?

What carrier do you have?

Are you using a device that you bought from your carrier, or are you using a device that is branded to a different carrier but is unlocked?

Did you ever have an iPhone? If so, did you disable iMessage?

I hear the sound for textes but when I go to my text messages there isn't any, then I try to send a text but I can't find any contacts to send them to.

put the sim in another phone and try to send..make sure that not the problem of sim
if not then do a factory reset

@brndabnks, are you the original poster of this thread? If so, which phone do you have? Does this persist after a reboot?
