I got a new SIM card from TalkTalk which works in my old Nokia but HTC does not 'see' it.

I am trying to bring my HTC into life so I can use some Android apps.

But, I also need the HTC ONE V as a phone.

    Help Please.

Hello. Have you looked to see if the Talk Talk apn settings were installed automatically when you inserted the sim.
You can load them manually in Settings - More Networks - Access Point Names.
The apn settings can be Googled or off the Talk Talk site.

However, it may be your device is locked to another network.
Also a quick search shows Talk Talk were using the Vodafone network, but in 2014 they were changing to O2.
I don't know what network the HTC was originally on.
Can you unlock it, I'm not sure. There used to be one or two reputable unlocking services on eBay.

I would have a friendly chat with a CPW store saying you would like to get it working again. Bear in mind with 4gb and low spec it may not be able to do much so I would not spend money on it.
