I posted something a few hours ago but forgot to include the phone name and couldn't find a reply button anywhere.
the power button doesn't turn the screen on or off, and the home button now takes screenshots (someone offered a potential explanation for this: the power button is stuck and the home button subsequently takes screenshots because of this).
now my phone is in a bootloop. i tried going into recovery mode, but the phone restarts before i can choose a reboot option. incredibly frustrating, as now i can't turn my phone off and it restarts every ten seconds. i'll do a hard reboot if i have to but i don't want to lose my contacts if i can avoid it.
